Executive Profiles

Edward Dellheim, Founder and Executive Director

  

Edward Dellheim is the founder and executive director of The Abaco Group, LLC, a boutique management consulting firm that enables organizations to connect strategy to structure, galvanize teams and drive results. 


Prior to establishing The Abaco Group, Ed was a Director of Midwest Corporates with Chatham Financial, a global advisory and accounting firm. Previously, he was a Principal and Chicago Market Financial Services Leader with North Highland Consulting. He has also worked as a Manager for KPMG Advisory in their Business Process Improvement practice and for Novantas Consulting in their Strategy practice.
 

Ed’s clients have included: ABN AMRO, Alliant Credit Union, ArcelorMittal, Bank of America, Brunswick Industries, Chamberlain Group, Chicago Zoological Society, Citizens Bank, CUNA Mutual, DeLaRue, Discover Card, Dover Corporation, Fidelity, FirstMerit, Huntington Bank, JBT Corporation, JPMorgan Chase, Key Bank, LaSalle Bank, Mastercard Advisors, National Grid, PapaJohn’s, PNC, RBS, S3, Thrivent, and Winsight.
 

Ed is a Charter Member and currently serves as Secretary of OPEN Chicago, an entrepreneurial and leadership development not-for-profit and is the Co-Chair of the Professional Services Committee of the Executives’ Club of Chicago.


 Ed has an MBA (with honors) from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a concentration in Strategic Management and a BA in Rhetoric from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also a candidate Executive Scholar in Leadership from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
